ORFEU explores the rules of romantic relationships

ME.LAND asked several artists from the French music scene to strike a pose. We did not want to erase or appropriate their personas; each of them posed with their own look and chose the shoes they preferred. ME.LAND offers a first step toward singularity. The shoes are produced in limited series. An alternative, couture, and unique style, with different and exclusive color combinations on every model. And this is exactly what can be found in the music of ORFEU, an artist of Lisbon heritage, rooted in the popular 20th arrondissement of Paris.

To pose, ORFEU chose the new model from the collection, DEBUT, for its sporty and contemporary side. A charismatic singer for the band NEÏMO, with 3 albums under his belt—including a duet with the French icon DANI and numerous collaborations with Karl Lagerfeld—Bruno Alexandre is embarking on a new project: ORFEU. An elegant and sunny French pop, with subtly 90s flavors, distilled by Sourya during production. At once incisive and bittersweet, cradled in saudade, his lyrics decant the romantic and societal disillusions of the turn of the century.

His first single, "Samothrace," dances with the rules of romantic relationships in 2020, between punchlines and melancholy. This is the single that provides the soundtrack for the images of our collection, shot at the Musée Jean-Jacques Henner in Paris. ORFEU meets THE RODEO, two artists to watch!
