ME.LAND presents its two most popular models in upcycled denim. These are not high-tops: both are low-top, unisex, lace-up sneakers.

Evan is a denim sneaker with a clean, urban design. Its unisex cut is suitable for both women and men.

Vivace is a denim sneaker with a bolder style, designed for a contemporary look.

On both models, upcycled denim is combined with recycled materials made from marine plastic waste. The insoles are removable.

Why produce new things when they already exist? The jeans you no longer wear are collected, sorted, and then handcrafted in Felgueiras, near Porto, to become your next pair of sneakers.

Production is limited to very small runs to avoid overproduction. Each pair is shipped in recycled cardboard packaging.

How to wear denim sneakers, for women and men?

Denim sneakers are emerging as an alternative to white sneakers. They can be worn with both casual and dressier outfits.

A casual everyday look

Raw denim jeans, a white t-shirt, and low-top denim sneakers. Or beige chinos with a light sweater. With a knit skirt or dress, women's denim sneakers add a casual touch.

A dressier outfit

Black straight-leg trousers, a white shirt, and denim sneakers to break the mold. A plain flowy dress and a jacket also work well.

The total denim look

An oversized light denim shirt, denim sneakers, and matching accessories. In summer, dark denim shorts and a loose sweatshirt.

How to care for denim sneakers?

Waterproof the sneakers before wearing them with a textile-appropriate spray.
Clean them regularly with a soft brush and a slightly damp cloth.
Treat stubborn stains with mild soap or baking soda.
Let them air dry, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
Store them in a cool, dry place.

Are ME.LAND denim sneakers suitable for both women and men?

Yes. Evan and Vivace are unisex models, offered in whole sizes from 35 to 46, subject to stock availability. We manufacture in small batches: your size may not be or may no longer be available.

They are handcrafted in Felgueiras, near Porto, Portugal, using jeans collected from our customers.

Are ME.LAND denim sneakers vegan?

Yes. Both models are vegan. The upcycled denim is combined with recycled materials made from marine plastic waste.

Where can I drop off my old jeans?

Drop them off at the ME.LAND boutique, 69 rue Condorcet, 9th arrondissement, Paris. The jeans must be blue, washed, stain-free, and preferably not torn. You will then receive a 20% discount on all ME.LAND shoes, applied in-store to the purchase made at the time of drop-off.

How long does delivery take?
