Who are you?

ME.LAND is a brand created by Frédéric Robert in 2018. After almost 20 years with various French luxury brands, his ambition is to offer sneakers that are comfortable, chic, elegant, unique, ethical, low-carbon, and close to his customers. And why not change the course of footwear history?

What are you doing?

ME.LAND creates comfortable, chic, elegant, unique, and responsible sneakers, staying close to its customers. They embody a way of being in everyday life. The philosophy behind this adventure is quite simple: Behave? Why not. However, there's no question of erasing one's personality!

Why are you doing this?

ME.LAND aims to support artistic creation. There are many talented yet unknown artists. ME.LAND works with them to produce its visuals, images, and videos. ME.LAND is, above all, a community and the joy of working together.

Where are your sneakers made?

ME.LAND shoes are designed in Montmartre, Paris, and entirely manufactured in Portugal or Italy. They are crafted by expert artisans with golden hands in Felgueiras (PT) or Civitanova Marche (IT) using high-quality materials sourced within a 50 km radius of the factory.

Where are they shipped from?

The pairs are stored in Paris and shipped one by one by the ME.LAND team.

What sizes are available?

Our sizes range from 35 to 46. There's something for every foot. After that, it depends on stock availability...

How can I be sure to order the right size?

It's simple, just use the size correspondence chart. And if a mistake occurs, we'll be happy to exchange the pair. No worries.

Do I need to create an account to place an order?

It is imperative to fill in your contact details to enable us to send the order and ensure a smooth delivery.

My size is out of stock, when will it be available again?

If a pair is no longer in stock, simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com and we will let you know if and when it will be restocked. As we work seasonally, it is possible that a pair that is no longer in stock will not be restocked... But it will be replaced by even more beautiful ones!

I've spotted a pair but can't find them on the website, where can I find them?

All currently available pairs can be viewed on our website or those of our retailers. If, after searching everywhere, the pair is not available, simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com and we will let you know what can be done.

Can I cancel or change my order?

As long as the package has not been shipped, it is possible to modify (address or product) or cancel the order. It's simple, just send us an e-mail to contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can make the requested changes.

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer the following payment methods:

  • By Credit Card: Visa, Carte Bleue, Mastercard, American Express
  • By Apple or Google Pay
  • By Alma Pay in 2x, 3x, or 4x installments
I've placed my order but haven't received any confirmation, should I be worried?

If the order is validated, a confirmation is sent. This may take a few minutes. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder or ensure that the email address was entered correctly. In any case, if you have any doubts, simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can carry out the necessary checks.

In which currency was my purchase made?

Prices are displayed in euros and purchases are made in euros. Any currency conversion fees are the responsibility of the buyer. 

Why was my credit card declined when I tried to pay?

In most cases, the refusal comes from the bank that declines the payment. Simply contact your bank to learn more. If necessary, you can send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can also conduct our investigation to understand the reasons for this refusal.

Is using my credit card online on meladofficiel.com secure?

Our site is equipped with Shopify Payment, the most secure and widely used payment system in the world today. It is also HTTPS (secure hypertext transfer protocol), as can be seen in the site's URL. All payments are validated by your bank and certify the identity of both the payer and the seller.

How much will I have to pay in customs duties and taxes?

No additional taxes are due for orders placed within the European Union and Switzerland. For the rest of the world, taxes may apply depending on the customs policies of each country.

When will I be charged for my order?

Payment for the order is due immediately after order confirmation. The amount is debited from the payment method within 24 to 48 hours.

Shipping and Delivery

What are the shipping times?

ME.LAND is a very small team. We have chosen not to outsource order fulfillment. Therefore, each order will be prepared and shipped within 3 to 6 business days by one of our team members. A shipping confirmation email with carrier details and a tracking link will be sent when your order is prepared.

I have a problem with the delivery of my package, what should I do?

Please contact us at contact@melandofficiel.com for a quick solution to receive your ME.LAND as soon as possible.

Can I have an invoice?

Exactly. We issue invoices during the preparation stage. We include a copy in the package that will be sent to you. If you would like it in electronic format, please send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com with your order number. We will send you the requested invoice.

What are the shipping costs and delivery times?

ME.LAND ships worldwide. Free shipping is available throughout Europe. Delivery within 6 to 12 days depending on the destination.

For countries outside Europe, ME.LAND charges a flat rate for delivery depending on the country. This amount is high and we are working to reduce it as soon as possible. However, it does not cover the full cost, which is shared between ME.LAND and the buyer. Delivery will be handled and carried out by a recognized freight forwarder.

Is my package insured?

Yes, we insure all packages we ship. We guarantee the delivery of the product in good condition. We have never had a problem to date. If the package is lost, we will reship a pair and deal with the carrier ourselves for the loss. If you find that the pair has been damaged during transit, please contact us, we will exchange the pair and also take the necessary steps with the carrier.

Exchanges and returns

Are exchanges and returns free?

Exchanges and returns are free throughout Europe.

How do I make an exchange or return?

Simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can process your exchange or return request. Once we receive the pair, we can proceed with the exchange or refund.

What is the average time for an exchange?

Upon receipt of your email, we will send you a return slip, and once we receive the item, we will ship the new pair. This should take about ten days. However, we have had very few returns to date.

Can I return my ME.LAND to one of your retailers?

For any pair purchased online, it is not possible to return them to one of our retailers. For a pair purchased in one of our partner boutiques or on another online platform, we invite you to directly inquire about their return policy.

My ME.LAND shoes are too small/too big, what should I do?

We will be happy to exchange the pair. No problem.

Simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can proceed with your exchange by sending you a return label. Once we receive the pair, we will send you the correct size.

What is the cooling-off period?

You have 15 business days to return the pair to us. Simply send us an email at contact@melandofficiel.com so that we can process your exchange, return, or refund request.

How do refunds work?

Upon receipt of your return and after verification of the pair, we will proceed with the refund. It will be credited to your account within 3 to 10 days, depending on the operator.

I received my ME.LANDs, but they have a defect. What should I do?

Each pair is checked at the workshop exit by Sergio and Manuel, our quality controllers. The team member who prepares your order also checks the pair we send you. We would rather not send it to you than send you a product with a defect.

We have very few returns, but if it were to happen, we would be happy to exchange your pair. You can contact us by sending an e-mail to contact@melandofficiel.com.

Our Commitments

Where are ME.LANDs made?

ME.LAND shoes are designed in Montmartre, Paris, and entirely manufactured in Portugal or Italy. They are crafted by expert artisans with golden hands in Felgueiras (PT) or Civitanova Marche (IT) using high-quality materials sourced within a 50km radius of the factory.

What is your commitment?

Since its first creations, ME.LAND has been committed to its Portuguese artisans, because without their savoir-faire,
the brand would not exist.

It is also committed to limiting its carbon footprint by working with materials sourced in Europe, rather than having them brought from the other side of the planet. The lightness of the shoes is also a very good indicator of respect. Primarily made for comfort, this lightness contributes to lower carbon emissions during.

The brand didn't stop there! All materials come from waste products.

All leathers come from waste from the food industry. ME.LAND has ensured the responsible sourcing of supplies, because no animal should be killed for its skin or fur.

All nylons, whether technical, neoprene, for lining, coating, or woven, come from recycled marine plastics. They are certified © SEAQUAL INITIATIVE.

The SEAQUAL organization promotes a reduction in overfishing by compensating fishermen for their loss of income through the recovery of plastic waste. The waste is then recycled into yarn or coating. They are used in all possible forms. The SEAQUAL label is not only a quality label, but also a traceability label from the fisherman at sea to the finished product. All stages are recorded under a unique number for complete transparency.
SEAQUAL is an entire community dedicated to our planet and our oceans.

Recycling is not limited to plastic; ME.LAND also uses new bio-based materials made from apples and soon from mushrooms. Waste from the food industry is thus reprocessed into high-performance faux leather materials to replace animal leather.

Our latest soles are also committed, as they are made from production scraps of rubber from other soles mixed with PET plastic cork crumbs.

Let's not forget our packaging, which is also entirely recycled: cardboard for boxes or cards and cotton for bags.

What are your subcontractors' working conditions?

Our workshops are located in Europe. European Community laws guarantee us decent working conditions for our suppliers. But for us, that's not enough. We have ensured that the Italian and Portuguese artisans who work for us are paid a fair price, because without their expertise, we would not exist. We have signed a charter with our suppliers to prohibit child labor, maintain a decent wage, and ensure comfortable working conditions in the workplace. An essential action to guarantee a quality product.
