ME.LAND x THOMASV: a compass and protective sneaker!
Thomas V is an artist and artisan jeweler. He launched his eponymous brand ThomasV a few years ago. Both simple and elegant, but also enigmatic, the designer has entered a universe of reflection with his work. Beyond abstract forms, Thomas V seeks to convey through his pieces his sensory relationship with raw materials. "There are no rules. I am inspired by images, sounds, animals, even dreams. I transform the basic idea to eliminate the superfluous and ensure that the jewel is as simple, clean, and refined as possible."
ME.LAND is an eco-responsible sneaker brand, inspired by good boys with rebellious hearts. It offers a unique blend of inspirations, materials, and colors with great attention to detail. A daily behavior emerges. A way to trace one's own path. The philosophy of this adventure is simple: Behave? Follow the rules? Why not? Provided there's no way to erase your own character!
The meeting of the two creators was obvious.
It allows for combining attention to detail, gesture, and meaning in a single object.
ThomasV, in collaboration with ME.LAND, designed a protective compass shoe. Each shoe is adorned with a medal of Saint Christopher, patron saint of travelers, and a wind rose to save and guide us. A much-needed metaphor in our daily lives.
