ARMELLE YONS, modern woman of the 20s
Armelle is a versatile artist. She is performing her first concert at Divan du Monde, inspired and suggested by Toulouse-Lautrec's Montmartre during the "Belle Epoque." With this beautiful tribute, she tours France and the United States. Her boundless energy and interpretive skills make her a true purveyor of emotions, an ambassador of the French repertoire.
Today, Armelle reinvents herself, singing her own updated and electrified repertoire. She becomes as free as the flapper women she helped (re)introduce.
ME.LAND shoes are much more than just footwear. They are a daily attitude that emerges from a blend of inspirations, materials, and colors. The philosophy of this adventure is simple: Stay on track? Follow the rules? Why not? As long as there's no way to erase one's own character.
For this collection, ME.LAND asked several artists from the French music scene to be the face of the collection. We did not want to erase or appropriate their personalities; each of them posed in their own look and chose the shoes they preferred.

When we asked Armelle to participate in the ME.LAND adventure, she chose to proudly pose with her MEAKER at the Musée national Jean-Jacques Henner.
