ARMELLE YONS, modern woman of the 20s
Armelle is a versatile artist. She presents her first singing performance at Divan du Monde, inspired and suggested by Toulouse-Lautrec's Montmartre during the "Belle Epoque". With this beautiful tribute, she tours France and the United States. Her overflowing energy and interpretive qualities make her a true purveyor of emotions, an ambassador of the French repertoire.
Today, Armelle reinvents herself and sings her own updated and electrified repertoire. She becomes as free as the women of the Roaring Twenties she helped to (re)discover.

They are much more than just shoes. From the blend of inspirations, materials, and colors emerges an everyday attitude. The philosophy of this adventure is simple: Stay on track? Follow the rules? Why not? As long as there is no way to erase one's own character.
For this new collection, ME.LAND asked several artists from the French music scene to be the face of the collection. We did not want to erase or appropriate their personalities; each of them posed with their own look and chose the shoes they preferred.
When we asked Armelle to participate in the ME.LAND adventure, she chose to pose proudly, with her MEAKER at the Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum.
