ME.LAND is much more than just shoes. From the blend of inspirations, materials and colors emerges a daily behavior. The philosophy of this adventure is simple: Stay on track? Follow the rules? Why not? Provided there is no way to erase one's own character.
ME.LAND collaborates with artists from the French music scene. Maissiat agreed to be the face of the collection. There was no question of erasing or appropriating her personality; she posed with her own look, her signature hat, and chose the pairs she wanted. Her choice immediately fell on our emblematic MEAKER in navy blue and our DEBUT sneakers with sporty, dynamic, and contemporary lines.
In three albums, Maissiat, author, composer, and performer, has established herself as a figure in the French music scene. Tropiques in 2013 and then Grand Amour created powerful and delicate pop music. In 2016, she set up a musical reading, in which her private diaries, songs, and bedtime texts respond to each other. She highlights the works of those who changed her vision of the world (Sophie Calle, Françoise Sagan, Marguerite Duras, Alain Baschung...). A cinephile and passionate about images, Maissiat also composes original music for documentary films. Driven by a desire to share, meet, and transmit, she regularly participates in unique projects.
