Whether through natural inclination or hereditary transmission, Nirman enrolled in the Conservatoire, listened to the Beatles on repeat, and at 13 years old, announced he would be a singer. After a stint in jazz, he released the EP Animal, an album of French songs tinged with hybrid pop and organic electro. In 2020, an album with strong emotional potential received unanimous praise. Under the guidance of Da Silva, Nirman didn't chase trends. It's a timeless record. One song in particular, Azzam David, won the lyrics prize at the Pic d'Or springboard in Tarbes and touched Francis Cabrel during a working residency in Astaffort.
