THE RODEO a playful anagram
ME.LAND has asked several artists from the French music scene to pose for them. We did not want to erase or appropriate their characters; each of them posed with their own look and chose the shoes they preferred. ME.LAND offers a first step towards uniqueness. The shoes are produced in limited series. An alternative, haute couture, and unique style, with different and exclusive color combinations on each model.
The Rodeo is the anagram of Dorothée, a mischievous self-taught musician and Parisian singer. After gaining recognition in English with her first two albums recorded across the world, "Music Maelström" (Naïve) and "La Musica Del Diavolo" (Claro Oscuro), her third album titled "Thérianthropie Paradis" (Claro Oscuro), entirely sung in French and influenced by the richly orchestrated European pop of the 60s/70s, marked a real turning point. The album was exported, and concerts followed, notably abroad (Germany, United Kingdom, South Korea, Brazil?). A new fourth album titled "Arlequine" was released in 2022, showcasing the thousand facets of a seasoned musician.

THE RODEO graciously joined us for our shoot and the making of a film at the National Museum Jean-Jacques Henner with ORFEU. An incredible encounter between artists and a multidisciplinary venue. For the photo shoot, she chose the new model from the collection, DEBUT as well as the high-top HEAKER in a more feminine and wintery version.
