THE RODEO a playful anagram
ME.LAND asked several artists from the French music scene to pose for them. We did not want to erase or appropriate their characters; each of them posed with their own look and chose the shoes they preferred. ME.LAND offers a first step towards uniqueness. The shoes are produced in limited series. An alternative, couture, and unique style, with different and exclusive color combinations on each model.
The Rodeo is the anagram of Dorothée, an mischievous self-taught musician and Parisian singer. After gaining recognition in English with her first two albums recorded all over the world, "Music Maelström" (Naïve) and "La Musica Del Diavolo" (Claro Oscuro), her third album, "Thérianthropie Paradis" (Claro Oscuro), entirely sung in French and influenced by the richly orchestrated European pop of the 60s/70s, marked a real turning point. The album was exported, and concerts were held abroad (Germany, United Kingdom, South Korea, Brazil). A new fourth album entitled "Arlequine" was released in 2022, showcasing the thousand facets of a seasoned musician.

THE RODEO kindly accompanied us during our shoot and the making of a film at the Musée National Jean-Jacques Henner with ORFEU. An incredible encounter between artists and a multidisciplinary venue. For the photoshoot, she chose the new DEBUT model from the collection, as well as the HEAKER high-top sneaker in a more feminine and autumnal version.
