For the eco-responsible ME.LAND sneakers, we organized a photoshoot at the Jean-Jacques Henner National Museum.
Jean-Jacques Henner was a late 19th-century painter inspired by classical Italian painting. More than just a museum, the artist's house that hosts his collections is a crossroads of arts in the heart of the Plaine Monceau, a district which, at the end of the 19th century, was the center of an unprecedented artistic and intellectual effervescence.
Today, this museum-studio hosts and encourages young talents from all disciplines, thus reconnecting with its original vocation as a place of creation and artistic exchange. An obvious location for ME.LAND, which works with numerous artists: artisans, photographers, videographers, musicians, street artists, graphic designers, and illustrators...

For this photoshoot, ME.LAND asked several artists from the French music scene to be the face of the collection: Abel Cheret and Adrienne Pauly, DaM, Orfeu, The Rodeo, Rosy Teixeira and Armelle Yons. We did not want to erase or appropriate their characters — each of them posed with their own look and chose the shoes they preferred.
